Since researching last time into mainly the ghost in the shell film i began to look into Shirow's comic books and more into his drawing style and colouring style he uses. Originally he started with hand drawn images, using latex acrylics, using inking techniques and screentones for his comics, i found out a lot of the the time he uses various photocopies for textures on his images. i looked a lot at the Ghost in the Shell comic as i have it myself it was a great reference to his drawing style and colouring style, then i looked at his newer Ghost in the Shell comic, Man Machine interface being a newer comic it shows his digital works rather than hand drawn and i compared the two.
